According to The Associated Press, the 99-year-old Philip was seen leaving King Edward VII’s Hospital on Tuesday, one month after he was first hospitalized for treatment of an infection on Feb. 16. On March 3, he was transferred to St. Bartholomew’s Hospital, where he “underwent a successful procedure for a pre-existing heart condition” before returning to King Edward VII’s Hospital for continuing treatment and recovery, Buckingham Palace said at the time.

Philip was vaccinated against COVID-19 earlier this year, and his illness was “not believed to be related to the coronavirus,” according to the AP.

Buckingham Palace has not commented on Philip’s release from the hospital, the AP reported.
