JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — New court documents are giving us a better timeline of the weeks leading up to a local dad’s death.
WOKV first reported on the murder about a year ago, when Jared Bridegan was shot and killed on February 16th.
A new court filing shows the suspect in Bridegan’s killing, Henry Tenon, was quote “conspiring” with others to kill Bridegan as early as January 4th, 20-22.
That’s more than a month before the killing.
The local father of four was murdered on February 16th of last year.
On January 25th this year, Jacksonville Beach Police announced the arrest of Henry Tenon.
Police said Tenon was part of a criminal conspiracy but did not name names.
The new court documents reveal prosecutors believe the conspiracy started on January 4th of last year.
Tenon is also accused of “accessory after the fact” starting on the day of the murder.. Through August 19th, 2022.
That’s one day after Tenon was arrested on unrelated charges. He’s been in jail since.
Tenon’s next court appearance, in this case, is February 16th.
