In January of 2020 Phil Collins, Mike Rutherford and Tony Banks were all spotted together at a Knicks game at Madison Square Garden.
From there the rumors of a Genesis reunion spread like wildfire.
In the beginning of March 2020 we got confirmation the reunion was on.
Then just a matter of days later, the world changed.
But the band began rehearsals just the same.
Some people are saying we could get concerts back by the fall.
Then January 22nd 2021 Genesis tweeted out a short video of the band in rehearsals using the stage set up they’ll use on the road.
The message with the video says “We’re ready, but the world isn’t... yet!” Genesis are rescheduling their April UK and Irish tour dates for autumn 2021 in light of the ongoing pandemic. ‘The Last Domino?’ Tour 2021 will now start in Dublin on 15th September.”
Watch the video below.
For those wondering, that is Phil Collins’ son Nick on drums.
