Is this the birth of KISS Jr.?

Nick Simmons and Evan Stanley cover a song

In December of 2023 the band KISS finally put the makeup away and retired from touring when they played their final show in NYC at Madison Square Garden.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen KISS retire, but with Paul and Gene in their mid 70′s, this time it feels like it’s going to stick.

At the show KISS introduced new hi-tech avatars who would continue on in KISS’ place to grow their legacy. The announcement was interesting, but ultimately excited almost nobody. A year later, we’re still 3 years away from seeing these things take the stage.

This is where Nick Simmons and Evan Stanley enter the picture.

The sons of KISS legends Gene and Paul took to social media courtesy of Gene’s account to show off some musical chops with their cover of Simon & Garfunkel’s ‘The Sound of Silence.’

Impressive work from the next generation of KISS!
