Fireworks Fails Remind Us To Be Safe On The Fourth of July

As long as nobody gets seriously hurt, fireworks fails can be some of the funnier videos you’ll find on the internet. From the shock of the people lighting the fireworks, to the panic as they run from the flaming projectiles, some of these videos are seared into our memories forever.

That’s why in honor of July 4th, I present to you, my “Mount Rushmore of Fireworks Fails”!

First on the list for me has to be the infamous San Diego fireworks fiasco at Big Bay Boom, when a malfunction at an elaborately choreographed 17-minute show set off all the fireworks at the same time!

Second on my Mount Rushmore of Fireworks Fails, is a recent video that began making the rounds last year. A family prepared a fireworks display in their front lawn, and driveway celebrating the Fourth of July. A security camera catches the explosion, which ends in everybody taking cover for safety.

While I don’t have the backstory to our next video, I do want to use this as a reminder to mind our pets on this holiday. Lots of dogs have panic and terror once these explosions start going off, and doing what we can to make the night easier on them can go a long way. That being said, it doesn’t look like this little doxie was scared of much as it became the viral sensation “Fireworks Fido”.

And finally, the final spot on my Mount Rushmore of Fireworks Fails, belongs to the one and only hall-of-fame-meme star Terry. Hopefully, he finally was able to put it in reverse and get outta there!

Fireworks safety is important, if for no other reason, you don’t end up becoming a viral fireworks fail video.
