This family friendly celebration welcomes in the new year with an apple juice toast at noon! The Jacksonville Zoo.

12/31/08:New Years Eve at The Landing
The Jacksonville Landing brings in the new year with live music from 7pm-2am and Fireworks at midnight!

1/1/09:The Gator Bowl
Nebraska takes on Clemson in Jacksonville's Gator Bowl at The Jacksonville Municipal Stadium at 1pm. Tickets still available.

11/14-1/4/08: The Polar Experience at Sea World
Orlando's Sea World features all kinds of special experiences this holiday season including "The Polar Experience", "Wheel of Fortune" Tapings and a huge New Years Eve Blowout party!

11/15-12/31/08: Festival of Lights
Wild Adventures Valdosta, GA. literally lights up the park with over 2 million twinkling lights, not to mention great features like a Living Nativity Scene, Santa, reindeer, Rudolph, rides, special holiday shows and treats!

11/17-1/4/09: ICE at The Gaylord Palms Orlando
2 Million pounds of ice in Central Florida! Orlando's Gaylord Palms hotel flys in incredible artists from China to carve the ice into sculptures, slides and scenes and yes, its cold! Guests are given heavy coats to walk through the attraction which is chilled down to 9 degrees or so.

11/21-1/4/09: Winter Wonderland
The St. Augustine Amphitheatre transforms itself into the great white north with ice skating, ice slide, sleigh rides, reindeer games, Santa and more. Nightly 6-10p.m. FREE Admission.

12/6-1/1/09: Holidays at Universal Orlando
Universal Orlando rolls out Holiday Fun at both parks with Universal Studios welcoming back The Macy's Holiday Parade nightly and specially themed holiday live shows featuring The Blue Brothers and Barney! Islands of Adventure brings back everyone's favorite grumpy old creature, The Grinch with Grinchmas featuring a special Grinchmas live show and character breakfasts. Then City Walk rocks New Years Eve with The Doobie Brothers.
