Perry is a 15 year old African American boy who lives on the Westside of town. He enjoys eading, playing foot ball and playing basket ball. He is a well behaved, talkative, and has a great personality. Perry comes from a single parent home and talks to his father occasionally on the phone. He is in the 10th grade and really looking forward to having a positive male role model to talk to and shoot some hoops with. Perry has been patiently waiting for a Big Brother since 2003.

Jamie is an 8 year old multi race female who lives in the Arlington area. Her mother passed away a couple of years ago and she lives with her aunt, cousins and siblings. Jamie loves to play with her dolls, dance, cheer, and she prefers to be active. She wants to learn to play tennis and she is aspiring to be a doctor. Jamie needs a consistent mentor who can help her come out of her shell and also help her with school work.

Christina is a 12 year old African American girl who lives in the Northside. Her mom is a single mother with four kids. Christina’s mom works a lot and would like for her daughter to be able explore Jacksonville and have cultural experiences while being taught how to act like a lady. Christina enjoys “girly” activities, enjoys shopping, skating, and watching movies.

Brandon is an 11 year old Caucasian male who lives in Southside. He is very outgoing, loves sports, and loves to be active. He lives with his mother, grandmother and sister. He has no contact with his father. Brandon would benefit from a big brother who likes to be outdoors, be active, someone that can stress the importance of education. He would love a big brother whom he can play basketball with, go to a Jaguar game, or even watch a move.

Makel is a 12 year old African American male who lives in the Mandarin area. He loves football, soccer, reading and any outdoor activity. Makel is an A, B Student. He lives with his mom, three sisters, and one brother. His father is incarcerated. Makel is reserved and has a hard time making friends. Makel wants a Big Brother that he can look up to and play sports with.

Exavier is a 6 year old African American male who lives in the Southside area with his mom and 5 siblings. His father is incarcerated and has limited contact with him. Exavier is very outgoing, active and easy going. He loves running, playing with toy cars, racing, and sports. He wants a big brother that he can race and do fun things with.

Andrew is an 8 year old Hispanic male who lives with his grandmother and younger brother in Mandarin. He is well mannered and very loving. He enjoys riding his bike and playing basketball. Andrew does well in school, but can get frustrated easily. He has been through a lot and needs a patient and consistent Big Brother. Andrew would greatly benefit from spending one on one time with a positive Big Brother.

Jason is a 10 year old African American boy who lives on the Westside of town. Jason lives with his mother and younger brother and has no contact with his father. He loves to fish, play baseball, swim, play video games, and ride his bike. He is outgoing, expressive, creative, active and polite. Jason needs a positive male role model because he is surrounded mostly by woman. He would love a big brother that he can fish and watch movies with.
