Rod Stewart Records Duet With Australian Singer

Rod Stewart will be including a special treat for his Australian fans when his new album, The Great American Songbook: Volume II, comes out October 21st. Stewart has recorded a duet with popular Australian singer Wendy Mathews on the 1930s standard "My Heart Stood Still," which was first recorded by Artie Shore and his orchestra. As of now, the song will only be on the Australian version of the album.

The Great American Songbook: Volume II also includes a duet with Cher on "Bewitched, Bothered, And Bewildered."

In other news, a British musical called Tonight's The Night, which features 20 Stewart songs, will open this month at London's Victoria Palace Theater.
